We provide interpretation services to facilitate smooth communication across a wide range of settings in Singapore, such as international conferences, internal meetings, trainings or seminars, business meetings, overseas business trips, trade shows, medical appointments, IR and litigation, etc.
We can arrange for consecutive, simultaneous or whispering interpreters best suited for your requirements and event settings. We also offer remote interpretation services, such as video conference via Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp and other forms of media.
Our dedicated Japanese and English-speaking coordinators will advise the best solutions to meet your needs. As a Japanese translation and interpretation company based in Singapore, we are able to arrange interpreters based in Singapore as well as in major cities in the ASEAN region. Arranging a local interpreter will reduce costs involved in transport and accommodation.
Types of Interpretation, Language Pairs and Industries
We offer consecutive, simultaneous and whispering interpretation services across various industries and fields. In addition to language pairs involving Japanese, we also offer them in English, Chinese, Korean, and other languages. Specialist fields include medical, IT, finance, travel, manufacturing, construction, logistics, international relations, environmental, IR, media, art and government agencies, etc.
Interpretation equipment (interpreter booth, wireless transmitters, receivers etc.) and a standby technician can also be arranged for simultaneous interpretation upon request.
Depending on your requests, we can arrange for interpreters based in Singapore or the country your event or meeting is taking place.
We also offer remote interpretation services, such as via video conference using Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or other forms of media.
Consecutive Interpretation
We offer consecutive interpretation service which is commonly used for small group settings to help facilitate interactions. Our consecutive interpreters maintain a high level of professionalism and perform exceptional linguistic and interpersonal skills.
Simultaneous Interpretation
We offer simultaneous interpretation service which is generally used for large conferences, international meetings and/or environments where interpretation of two or more languages are required. Simultaneous interpretation requires specialised skills and is more complex and strenuous to execute in comparison to consecutive interpretation. Simultaneous interpreters will work in a group of two or more and sit in an isolated interpreter booth (or table). They listen to the speaker through a headset and interpret simultaneously into a microphone, which is wirelessly transmitted to the headsets of the audience.
Whispering Interpretation
We also offer whispering interpretation service where the interpreter sits next to the person requiring interpretation and interprets what is being said by whispering to them. Usually, no extra equipment is required as long as there are no more than two persons requiring interpretation. The aim is to offer discreet language support in a group setting only to the persons requiring them without interfering with the progress of events.

Remote (Online) Interpretation
Remote interpretation, also known as online interpretation, refers to the interpretation of meetings, etc. carried out via communication technologies, such as Skype or Zoom calls with the interpreters participating from a remote location. Remote interpretation can be conducted even if the participants are located far apart or overseas. The benefit of remote interpretation over other types of interpretation is that it allows a reduction of the total booking hours and transportation costs if the interpreters and participants were to be present at the venue. The demand for remote interpretation is said to rise significantly as it prevents physical proximity with others.

The following shows the general flow for an interpretation request:

If you prefer, we can come to your office to discuss details of the project.
2. Quotation
We send you a quotation based on your requirements taking into consideration the industry type, difficulty and the total number of assignment hours. As you review the quotation, we select suitable interpreter(s) for your project and send you their profile. The quotation is offered free of charge.
3. Selection of an interpreter
We select and arrange a suitable, experienced interpreter to meet your needs.
If you require, we can also arrange for simultaneous interpretation equipment and a technician on standby.
4. Order confirmation
After reviewing our quotation and the terms and conditions, if you would like to proceed, reply to our email stating your intent to confirm the order (preferably at least 2 weeks before the project).
Once we receive your confirmation, we will officially secure the interpreter’s schedule.
Generally, we require new / overseas clients to make full payment in advance.
5. Preparation for the assignment
All information and materials required for the interpretation shall be shared with us latest by 1 week before the assignment. The interpreters will prepare for the assignment by reviewing the materials and studying the terms used.
*If information and materials are not shared at least 1 week in advance, it may affect the quality of the interpreter’s performance. Hence, please ensure all necessary information and materials are shared latest by 1 week before the assignment date.
Please also provide contact details of your person in-charge on the day of the assignment (name and mobile number) and we will provide you with the interpreter’s emergency contact.
6. On the Date of Assignment
Our interpreter will arrive at the specified location and time to meet the person in-charge of the assignment on the day. On most occasions, the interpreter and the person in-charge will have a brief pre-meeting (15 to 30 mins) to go over the details of the event or meeting.
If you require more preparation time with the interpreter, please let us know in advance.
After the event or meeting ends, the interpreter will report to the person in-charge and be released.
