Flow of Our Translation Services

We offer translation services such as Japanese-English translation, editing, proofreading, DTP (desktop publishing) and notarisation services, etc. for various documents across a wide range of industries.

The following shows the general flow for a translation request:

1. Enquiry / Request for a quote

Fill in and submit the form to send us an enquiry / request for a quote, or send us an email with the documents to be translated.

2. Quotation

We will send you an email with the quotation and lead time based on the document(s) shared with us.
The quotation is provided free of charge.
*If the documents are in non-editable file formats (i.e. PDF or JPG, etc.),a layout adjustment fee will apply.

3. Confirmation of the order from you

After reviewing our quotation, if you would like to proceed, reply to our email stating your intent to confirm the order.
Translation will only begin after we receive your confirmation email.
Please note that we may request for new corporate clients or individual customers to make payment in advance before we begin a translation.

4. Allocating a translator


Based on your requirements, we allocate a suitable translator and secure their schedule.

5. Proofreading


Our translators will check for any spelling errors or missed content.
Proofreading by a separate native speaker of the target language can be added at a separate charge. They check that the translations have been translated accurately and appropriately.

6. Delivery

The translations will be delivered in the format specified by you.
A digital invoice will be issued and sent to you via email after the translations are delivered.
*If the deliverable does not meet your expectations, please provide feedback on the areas that need to be modified/revised and the reasons for them within 2 weeks from the date of delivery. We will do our best to provide a revised/modified version of the deliverable. If there is no feedback within 2 weeks after the delivery, we will assume that it has met your expectations.

Translation Fees

In our quote, we provide a rough estimate for our translation fees and lead time based on the number of words or characters in the original texts, the difficulty, file format and desired layout, etc.
We also offer special discounts for large translation volumes.

Q: Can you explain what happens in a translation request?

Q: It is possible for you to revise the delivered translations and resend them?

A: If the deliverable does not meet your expectations, please provide feedback on the areas that need to be modified/revised and the reasons for them within 2 weeks from the date of delivery. We will do our best to provide a revised/modified version of the deliverable. If there is no feedback within 2 weeks after the delivery, we will assume that it has met your expectations.

Q: What information do I need to provide to obtain a quote?

A: Please send us the documents to be translated and advise their intended use, the file format you would like to receive them (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), the language they are to be translated to and from (e.g. English to Japanese, Japanese to Thai, etc.) and your desired delivery date.

Q: Can we arrange a meeting to speak to your person in-charge before we request a quotation or proceed with the translation?

A: Yes, we can arrange for our person in-charge to visit your office to have a meeting. Please contact us by email.


Q: I am unable to attach and send the document(s) for translation via email because it exceeds the maximum file size. How can I send the file(s) to you?

A: You may send them to us via file transfer service, or alternatively, we can visit your office to obtain the files.


Q: How many words or characters can each translator translate per day on average?

A: As a guideline for Japanese to English translation, a translator can handle about 4000 Japanese characters per day on average.


Q: I need documents translated urgently. Are you able to handle them?

A: We will try our best to meet your requirements. However, additional charges may apply depending on the requested delivery date.


Q: How much are your translation fees?

A: The translation fees depend on the language pair. Please contact us for more information.


Q: When do I make payment?

A: An invoice will be issued and sent to you after the translation is delivered. Generally, we request new corporate clients and individual customers to make payment in advance before we begin a translation. For corporate clients, we will try our best to accommodate your requests in adjusting our payment deadline, such as closing the bill at the end of the month and having the payment deadline by the end of the following month.

Q: I would like to use your translation and/or interpretation services, but I am concerned about sharing confidential information.
